P4 Jenkins

Hello,

I am configuring a Perforce plugin for Jenkins, and my configuration is attached. The problem is that the build repeats every 2 minutes, even when there is no new check-ins.

How to configure it so that it only triggers automatic build once a check-in is made?

We use Perforce but a different plugin (I think, there are at least 2). What does the help for “Perforce Triggered” say?

Hi Martin,

what version of p4-jenkins are you using?

not sure what "triggered by perforce" means - I don't have that in my configuration. I would turn it off.

also make sure your jenkins and perforce server are in sync time-wise.

We're running Perforce using the other plugin and just use the Poll SCM scheduler. It works as expected.

Hi, Russ:

I am using this one: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/P4+Plugin, which is from Perforce.

It should be the right one to choose, according to the documentation.
