Hello all!

I added workflow 1.8 which of course installed a number of plugins and updated a few others.  I restarted Jenkins.  But now when I select "New Item" I'm not getting the option to create a workflow.  Any thoughts?

I've now upgraded a whole slew of plugins and now have the ability to add a workflow project.  But now I don't seem able to do anything.  The bottom of the UI is workflow -> definition which appears to be a select box but does not allow me to select anything.

I may have it working... I had to uninstall and play around a great deal with the "available" plugins UI in order to install all of the workflow plugins.  I wonder if there is an easier install.

You should not need to do anything beyond asking to install “Workflow: Aggregator” (it is advisable to also restart Jenkins when offered).

Thanks for the reply!  In the "Manage Plugins" section, from the "available" tab, I filtered on workflow.  There was only one workflow so I added it.  Unfortunately that only added some of the plugins.  Without the filter, I sometimes saw multiple workflow plugins and other times did not.  Needless to say, I'm somewhat confused as to why the don't all show up all of the time.

After a number of installs and uninstalls, what seemed to work for me was going to the available tab, installing what I could find without a restart, going back, installing more, and repeat a few more times.  Eventually I had all 8 or so workflow plugins installed.

This is apparently a bug but I'm currently unable to sign into the bug tracker.

I'm having the same trouble as Steven.  After several restarts, Workflow showed up on the New Item page as an option.  In the configuration, there's a Workflow -> Definition drop-down, but nothing in it to select.  See the attached screenshots.

I believe I found the problem.  workflow-aggregator has a depencendy on workflow-cps-global-lib.  workflow-cps-global-lib wasn't resolving it's git-server dependency in my installation for some reason.  Installing git-server through the plugin manager solved this problem for me.

No idea. Has always worked for me.
