possible to have jenkins job pass in parameter to next stage in pipeline

We have a stage in Jenkins pipeline where we invoke a Jenkins Job. (e.g.  build job: ... )

Is there a way for that Jenkins job that is invoked to pass in a value/parameter to the next stage in the pipeline ?
