Hi Jenkins Users,

I encountered one problem with ClearCase plugin, not sure how to resolve it.

It’s a problem with line endings of the view. Is it configurable?

In one of my jobs it is set correctly (see log’s fragment in yellow):

cleartool mkview -snapshot -tag Jenkins_build_CMSBUILD6.cms.cypress.com_PSoC-Programmer-Build-3.24 -tmode insert_cr -stgloc -auto view

But, in another which I created from scratch this –tmode option is skipped:

cleartool mkview -snapshot -tag Jenkins_build_CMSBUILD6.cms.cypress.com_PSoC_Products_PSoC_Programmer_PSoC-Programmer-3.24-WiX -stgloc -auto view

Problem also doesn’t exist if I clone new view from existing view with correct line endings (-tmode insert_cr).

How ClearCase plugin defines which –tmode option to use?

Both jobs run from the same Jenkins node. Please help to comprehend this.

Regards,

Andy

Hi,

there is nothing in the Clearcase plugin related to this option, but there is the possibility to specify custom mkview parameters in the advanced section.
