Writing and debugging pipelines

Hello all,

I am starting with Jenkins pipelines and I was wondering how you all debug/write your pipelines.

Currently, I have to commit and push every change so Jenkins can pick it up.

This way, I am polluting the commit logs.

How do you guys manage this?
