Hi,

in Manage Jenkins there is a line: New version of Jenkins (*) is available for download (changelog).

Is there a way to disable/turn it off?

Configure an update site in Manage Plugins » Advanced that doesn't serve newer Jenkins versions. You'll have to create that yourself though.

Hi,

why do you want to turn it off? It is an important hint to check wether relevant security and/or bug fixes have happend.

If you are running an LTS version, then it should show up much less frequently (if keep your installation up to date).

Since Jenkins 2.24 you can disable the 'Jenkins Update Notification' in Configure Jenkins » Administrative Monitors. So if the core update notification is the only reason you're doing that, there's an easier solution (in LTS starting next week).

I´m using the v2.34 and I don´t find the menu/configuration you´re mentioning (" Configure Jenkins » Administrative Monitors").

I´ll wait for the "easier" solution on the next LTS release.

Right, the label is 'Configure System'. I always get this wrong. Go there, then look for 'Administrative monitors configuration'.
