Jenkins Text Finder Plugin Cannot Find Console Log File As a Post Build Action

As a post-build Action, I have the Text Finder plugin searching - just the console output - i.e. the Files textbox is empty for a simple regex.
This is the error message in the actual console output file:

Build step 'Execute shell' marked build as failure Checking console output /home/ciserv/.jenkins/jobs/CHAP_RPL/builds/2015-08-17_16-01-59/log: UNIX_CHAP: STAT call failed in audproc: No such file or directory Finished: FAILURE

But when I go to the UNIX directory, the log file is there but has the timestamp of 16:02 - hence - it looks like a race condition where the console log file is not yet completely output before the Text Finder Plugin executes - has this been anybody else's experience? Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it?
