Hi,

Could anyone please let me know if the Jenkins "git" plugin now supports "subtree" concept?

Also, if it supports only "submodule", any recommendation on which is the minimum version of the "git" plugin that one should have for a reasonably stable "submodule" based setup?

We are currently on v1.1.20 and I see in the release logs that quite a few bugs have been fixed on this plugin and the current is v1.4.0.

Hi,

I have exactly same problem. I have some subtree folder I want to update with every build.

Please let me know if there is any proper solution for that with pipeline configuration.

Best regards,
Witold

I'm not aware of any support to update a remote Git repository from pipeline yet. I thunk there may be one pull request pending to add GitPublisher support to pipeline, but I have not evaluated it yet.
