I'm planning our Jenkins upgrade to the latest version but as this will be quite a jump in versions is there any recommendations on how best to do this. I'll be using a test box as a first step.
Is there any benefit or need to first upgrade to an intermediate step to allow for any substantial changes?
Once i've our test box updates i'll be checking which plugins need updating as a separate second step as our system is not exposed to the internet this will be a manual upgrade.
