What I want to do is run a job that will revert another agent to a base snapshot and then run a build on that agent. The problem is, I want Jenkins to pick a free agent that isn’t currently running any jobs, revert the snapshot and then run a build. I don’t want to have to manually specify the agent. I understand that there is a vSphere plugin that will revert snapshots but from looking at the documentation it looks like you have to specify the VM to revert.
Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?
