changing the prefix in jenkinsci/blueocean docker container

I have a nginx container as a reverse proxy through to my blueocean container but I want to use a different path than root "/jenkins". I have configured nginx as described in the documentation BUT I can't figure out how to include the prefix inside the container. What is the best way to set it in the container?
