Need help on puppet integration with Jenkins

Hi all,
I need to deploy my code in weblogic server. I have written any script to build artifact . When I'm trying to deploy the artifact I'm getting error . So I was suggested to use puppet . I have downloaded "puppet" plugin and "deployment notification" plugin as first step . Could any of you please explain me how puppet will work ? And how i should use these plugins? Will they automatically deploy artifact or some code has to be written. If so where should I place the code ? And what code is to be written . I need an example to deploy an artifact in a sever . Thanks in advance .
