controlling who can see a view

Hi All,

I'd like to have a view for a project that is only accessible to a few
users. How can I configure security on a view itself to prevent that
view showing to users who haven't been given permission to view it?

Hi Chris,

You can use "Project-based Matrix Authorization Strategy".
This works well with the LIST views and Sectional view (having minimum one list view).
You need to give permission to user per Job and user will be able to see views containing that job.
This doesn't work well for nested views.
If you give global VIEW.READ permission, then user will be able to see all views including nested views but the views not having user's jobs will appear empty.
