Could not add HP-ux machine as slave in jenkins

I am trying to add hp-ux B.11.31 host as a slave in jenkins. But getting below error. Any clue to fix this ?

[06/21/16 06:17:18] [SSH] Opening SSH connection to devsys12.com:22.
[06/21/16 06:17:19] [SSH] Authentication successful.
SSH connection reports a garbage before a command execution.
Check your .bashrc, .profile, and so on to make sure it is quiet.
The received junk text is as follows:
`/usr/bin/tty`: Ambiguous.

Were you ever able to add HP-ux machine as slave in Jenkins?

I'm trying to add HP-UX B.10.20, would this version be out of scope? Do I need any additional items to get that be a slave node?

You'll need a JDK 8 running on HP-UX 10.20.

Considering the long-ago end of support for HP-UX 10.20, I'm not sure how likely you will be to find an HP-UX 10.20 version of JDK 8. As far as I can tell from web searches, HP-UX 10.20 ended support 15 years ago.
