Cannot log into ssh server

Hi,

I set up the SSH server on the "Configure System" page, and now my SSH client (Bitviz on windows) can find it.

But it can't seem to log in,

Jenkins is set to use its own user list (which currently contains just me), so I've used that user name and password in the SSH client, but it fails to authorize

.

Is there an idiot's guide to setting this up? I suspect I've missed something simple, that's usually how these things go!
