Hi there

Just wondering if it's possible to load the Jenkins core to groovy editor in order to write groovy scripts on the fly.
The problem I have is I do not know much about groovy, a little bit about Jenkins and it looks like I have to import some Hudson modules to write basic groovy scripts to interact with my Jenkins jobs or as part of Jenkins jobs

Is there any groovy editor out there that I can load the Jenkins core and it will show me the intelliscense way of what modules I can use etc?

Has anyone set something like this on their machine?

I also did some googling to find out the answers but this one came close

Couple of things i do not understand is why we have to have eclipse to write groovy scripts and also what does loading jenkins core mean?

Any advice?
