"Some error ! Simple ping failed"

Hi

Our Jenkins instance is logging a lot messages of type:

Dec 18, 2014 4:13:40 PM SEVERE org.jinterop.dcom.core.PingObject read

Some error ! Simple ping failed , hresult: 1912

All slaves are online so I don’t know what ping is failing.

Any suggestions for how to investigate this please?

Maybe not getting an answer means no one does have an answer?

People do read this group and usually respond if they can help. Begging for help won’t help in getting an answer faster… or at all.

Please do stop doing that.

Sorry for the repeated posts. A restart seems to have fixed the ping problem for now.
