I hope Gustavo finds that more helpful than I did. Its pretty obscure how to do any particular thing but the notes covering how to access the api are pretty thorough.

Well, why should the wiki repeat what Jenkins tells you already? It explains how to get information about a build:

On that page in Jenkins, there's this:

Repeating the same thing will just result in the information becoming stale over time when something changes.
