Hello,

We have just upgraded our Jenkins instance from a pretty old 1.5xx version to 1.616 and encountered the new UI for the first time.  Unfortunately the entire left side panel is blank.  The jobs render, and the breadcrumb menu at the top also renders, but not the side panel.

The strange this is when I inspect the DOM using Chrome's tools, the divs are all there, but they also rapid flash in purple, which I think indicates they're being constantly rewritten.  There are no errors in the console nor in the Jenkins server-side log.  Any help?

I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Thanks!
Ryan

A little more information (with screenshot).  Jenkins appears to be calling "ajaxBuildQueue" and "ajaxExecutors" every few seconds in an infinite loop.

For anyone watching, this was caused by a plugin.  Which one, though, I have not been able to determine.  But turning them all off fixed the problem, and then I've been incrementally turning them back on.

Also, the ajax calls I posted about later are apparently normal.  So no smoking gun there.

The faulty plugin was "Simple Theme Plugin". Once thsi was deactivated, everything came back.
