After Jenkins upgrade to latest 1.6 version Jenkin url sometimes becomes inaccessible

Hi All, 

We recently followed below steps during this Jenkins upgrade from version 1.56 to latest 1.6

1. Browsed to "Manage Jenkins" link and clicked "download/upgrade"

2. The latest .war file was downloaded but was not able to copy itslef or overwrite in to the final destination folder for upgrade, looked some permission issue

3. We then manually copied the .war file to the required destination folder deleting the older one & double clicked it

4. Restarted the Jenkins

5. Were able to see the upgraded version with all existing jobs

6. We then proceeded to upgrade the Jenkins plugins and did final restarts.

7. Tested couple of builds and all went fine

Issue: Now sometimes the urls http://localhost:8080 becomes inaccesbile how ever we are able to ping the host
