I believe it's different because this is for generating a job config based off dsl code, while the other ticket is for using it in a pipeline. I can't confirm, but using it in a pipeline might work now since dependency track's 3.6 release added support for addressing a project by name/version or UUID, which you mentioned in that ticket.

No success using v2.2.0. I did try to publish to dependency-track via a pipeline job and that worked, but creating a job with a seed job did not.
