Jenkins / Bug JENKINS-59720
Adds "N errors, M warnings" text to the build page
Issue Type: Bug Bug
Assignee: Martin Reinhardt
Components: log-parser-plugin
Created: 2019-10-09 22:54
Environment: Jenkins 2.190.1 with the latest version of the log-parser-plugin
Priority: Minor Minor
Reporter: Robert Luberda

It would be nice to have an option  to remove the counters from the main build page, i.e. not to display those "4 errors, 2 warnings" text shown on your sample image.

I would like to use the log nly to get colored console output, without causing any side effects; and the displayed text is a pretty misleading,  especially when the job is configured not to fail on such errors, just like  in the case shown on the sample image. (Another factor is that the text is non-clickable;  but this  could be an another feature request: if the text is displayed, it could be a link to the parsed console output page.)
