The step and freestyle configuration allows to provide a custom ID. This ID must be a valid URL, otherwise the plugin can't create valid hyperlinks . There should be some validation for this field.

The hyperlinks to the warning results are not working -> see Screenshot ( left side gcc STM32F** Warnings )
