Steps:

  1. visit jenkins/pluginManager/installed
  2. select a plugin to update
  3. click the install button
  4. check the Restart Jenkins when installation is complete and no jobs are running box

Actual results:

Installing Plugins/Upgrades

Preparation
  • Checking internet connectivity
  • Checking update center connectivity
  • Success
Mailer /jenkins/static/4fb9183d/images/24x24/yellow.png!  Downloaded Successfully. Will be activated during the next boot
Slack Notification /jenkins/static/4fb9183d/images/24x24/yellow.png!  Downloaded Successfully. Will be activated during the next boot
HTML Publisher /jenkins/static/4fb9183d/images/24x24/yellow.png!  Downloaded Successfully. Will be activated during the next boot
Restarting Jenkins this-image-is-not-available/static/4fb9183d/images/24x24/grey_anime.gif  Running

By the time the Restarting jenkins line loads in the browser, the jenkins server is restarting and no longer able to serve the picture.

Expected results:

As the picture is generic (it isn't big, and isn't particularly specific to this task), preload it in the page so that when it's needed
