The branches to build/branch specifier/"name" help documentation on wildcard and regex values talks only about branches, not tags.

This implies neither work with tags, but only branches. But I doubt that is the case?

It should talk about the more generic term refs, or name both types of refs explicitly: branches and tags.

Please clarify which location does not describe tags in the help. From a Freestyle job, the help for the "Branches to build" field has descriptions for <tagName> and refs/tags/<tagName>

If your concern is that the phrasing specific to wildcards in one of the early paragraphs in that help page, please provide a pull request to help-name.html with your proposed text.

If your concern is about a different portion of the help or a different project type, please provide more details so that the text can be found.
