The top-level view of the build is marked as "aborted" however in the Build Steps view some of the stages are still shown as running, and these executions are also visible in the "Build Executor Status" panel on the left side - both global and agent-specific view. So far I have observed 2 such occurences.

Re: Some pipeline stages keep running after pipeline build was aborted I'm attaching a redacted version of the build console output. There are some error messages like "sh: /home/jenkins/workspace/ ... @tmp/durable-93e804c1/jenkins-result.txt.tmp: No such file or directory" which suggest it could have something to do with the durable task stuff. There is a StackOverflowError at the end of the log showing repeated calls of:  org.jenkinsci.plugins.workflow.actions.ErrorAction.isUnserializableException(ErrorAction.java:75)

Re: Some pipeline stages keep running after pipeline build was aborted Hi,        I have met the same issue.   My pipeline is aborted by fastfail, with be StackOverflowError, some executors are still used by the build, I have to click X button to abort it mannually.   Thanks.
