There was some discussion in the following PR about being able to resolve artifact IDs even if case doesn't exactly match what was requested:  [https://github.com/jenkinsci/custom-war-packager/pull/104#discussion_r298844378]

 

This might be good functionality to incorporate into the plugin manager tool.
