Jenkins / Improvement JENKINS-57809
Default timestamp formats should not be boldfaced
Issue Type: Improvement Improvement
Assignee: Steven G Brown
Components: timestamper-plugin
Created: 2019-06-01 13:38
Labels: ux
Priority: Minor Minor
Reporter: Jesse Glick

DEFAULT_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT and DEFAULT_ELAPSED_TIME_FORMAT wrap the text in <b>, which makes the timestamp more prominent than the log text it is preceding. This seems backwards. A timestamp should not grab attention but mostly stay out of the way unless you are specifically looking for it.
