Jenkins show heap size issue while building using ant, but this issue is not faced when executing on the server directly.

Hi Pelican pelican: Why do you think this is a problem of the plugin? The error says "Invalid Maximum Heap Size -Xmx4096m.

Hello Stephan

 

As we mentioned in the issue description when we are using the ANT plugin for building we encounter Invalid Maximum Heap Size issue. 

We also have a feel that it may not be an issue with the ANT plugin as we encounter the same issue when be try to build using a batch file with ANT commands on the slave machine.

So we would like to know if this is some configuration gap on the Jenkins server or something else.

Hi Stephan

We understood the issue here. It was the environment variable that were not getting set when we were initiating a process on the node machien. 

On declaring the required evironment variable the process was completed successfully.
