Jenkins / Bug JENKINS-57473
Replace second x with an up arrow
Issue Type: Bug Bug
Assignee: Unassigned
Attachments: image-2019-05-14-18-51-03-199.png
Components: blueocean-plugin
Created: 2019-05-14 22:51
Priority: Minor Minor
Reporter: Josh Soref

When a build fails, the top of the pipeline view looks like this:

Conceptually, when using blue ocean, the right x takes one up a stage, e.g. from a build number to the branch/PR.

So, instead of using an x, we can use an up arrow.

Re: Replace second x with an up arrow

I think its an improvement, I also find the box with arrow, and the X confusing.

At a very minimum, joe (i can't figure out his jira, i'll ping him directly) needs to weigh in cause he might want to export a different version of the icon to match up.

My preference is to move the exit icon to the far right, and the up arrow (or whatever) to the far left.

But even as is, I think its an improvement.

I'm not opposed to swapping the positions, but I'd rather do that as a distinct change – I don't want perfect to be the enemy of the good.
