Jenkins / Bug JENKINS-56628
Some created Azure VMs have greatly constrained network bandwidth
Issue Type: Bug Bug
Assignee: Azure DevOps
Components: azure-vm-agents-plugin
Created: 2019-03-19 20:22
Priority: Minor Minor
Reporter: Derek Morris

We're seeing cases where on occasion, a VM created using the Azure VM agents plugin has significantly worse network bandwidth than other VMs created with the plugin - speedtest results of 15 Mbit/s as opposed to 4272 Mbit/s. This ends up leading to timeouts while fetching repositories, as that takes significantly longer with a poor network connection.

This issue filed at the request of Azure support in relation to case 119022121000007.

Thanks for reporting this issue. This should be something limitation on the IAAS. I am willing to get any feedback from the Azure support.

Jie Shen resolved as Won't Fix

This should be an infrastructure problem. Won't fix on this plugin.
