If using a non streams workspace you can define the workspace view used to publish assests. Therefore if you only want to publish changed files under a bin directory you can have that control.

With streams you do not get that flexibility and need to reconcile the whole stream. For Performance and flexibility reasons it would be good if we could have an advanced option to define an area to include for streams workspaces also.
