We have about 100 freestyle, pipeline and multibranch-pipeline jobs with about 175 build histories. There are 25000 build history entries containing about 500000 workflow steps. An strace on the Jenkins master while loading the Blue Ocean pages showed that all these 500000 /var/lib/jenkins/jobs//jobs//branches//builds//workflow/*.xml files are read, although they do not contain any useful information for showing the dashboard, activity or branches pages.
