Request: contributor rights for maven-metadata-plugin

Hi there,

I created some pull request for the maven-metadata-plugin repository. The owner of the plugin now informed me that he can hardly maintain it anymore. He suggest that I ask for contributor rights and merge and release to PRs myself. Please see his comment on one of the pull requests.

Can anybody provide me with contributor rights for that plugin? What do I need to do to get them? BTW: My GitHub account is marcrohlfs.

It would be great if somebody from Jenkins Core Team adds a note to the thread if he handles the request...
