Hi,

I have seen github Co pilot has a plan for maintainers.
Does Jenkins org have such a thing and if so are we as plug-in maintainer eligible for git hub Co pilot license?

Thanks,
Tzach

Hi,

There is a free Copilot Pro plan potentially available to all FOSS maintainers using GitHub. GitHub evaluates individual eligibility for a free plan. The criteria is not exactly well known and it is re-evaluated every month, but you can start from checking your eligibility. See https://docs.github.com/en/copilot/how-tos/manage-your-account/get-free-access-to-copilot-pro

Hi Tzach,

From an organizational level, there's only "Copilot for Business", which has to be paid for. You can use your Copilot subscription or the free tier, depending on what's available to it questions or let it take a look over things.
