adopt a plugin: deploy plugin

I would like to get started with contributing to the Jenkins project and would like to adopt the deploy plugin. It would be nice if someone could help me along the way, as this would be a first for me.

Hi,

Not sure which plugin you're talking about (better give links and informations directly in general).

The "deploy plugin" I can find [1] does not seem to be "to be adopted" as of now (though indeed from the activity, it might be eligible).

If you want to start hacking to get a grip on it, a good first step is to submit pull-request to the plugin and get them reviewed. 

Then, or sooner if you already feel confident enough, we can set you up as a maintainer. But beware that this plugin has a very high number of installations (10k+), 

hence one'd have to be maybe a bit more careful than on another one.
