Hello,

I'm the author of the github-oauth-plugin. I have a little baby at home
now and I no longer have any time to take care of maintaining or
releasing the plugin

The main repository is here:
https://github.com/jenkinsci/github-oauth-plugin

There are several tickets in the JIRA and pull requests on my fork here:
https://github.com/mocleiri/github-oauth-plugin

If anyone has interest you can take over making releases on this
plugin. If you send me your github id I will give you control to my
fork for managing the tickets and/or commit access.

Regards,

Mike

Mike,

I'd be willing to help maintain the plugin as I'm currently relying upon it.

My GH username is skottler.

Mike if you confirm that is OK, let the list know so jenkins-admin can:

Make skottler a committer of github-oauth-plugin
Set skottler as default assignee of github-oauth

Hi Jesse,

I confirm that Sam should be a committer to the github-oauth-plugin and
will be the new maintainer. Several other people volunteered off list
so there may be a few more to add later.

Will this give access to management of the plugin's JIRA? and also the
ability to make releases?

Thanks,

Mike

OK, done.

I think any site user can update tickets and so on; anything else needed?

Cannot remember offhand what is needed to be able to publish Maven releases. Not specific to the plugin.

skottler doesn't seem to have commit access to github-oauth-plugin and when I
tried to add him, it failed with

[01:07] <vjuranek_> jenkins-admin: Make skottler a committer of github-oauth-
plugin
[01:07] <jenkins-admin> Failed to create a repository: {"message":"Server
Error"}

Can someone with access to the log of the bot investigate the cause of the
failure? And make skottler a committer of github-oauth-plugin ? (I cannot add
him manually)

Thanks
Vojta

Hi everyone,

Just looking for some advice here. I need to configure Jenkins to delegate authentication to an Oauth 1.0 Identity Provider. Is extending the Oauth plugin the right way to go? If so, where can I find some good documentation on how to get started doing that?

Thank you,
