Cannot Publish Mesos Plugin Release

Hi,

for some odd reason I cannot publish a release of the Mesos plugin. I had no troubles publishing snapshots but releases do not work. The upload ends with the following error

Could not PUT 'https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/releases/org/jenkins-ci/plugins/mesos/2.0/mesos-2.0.hpi'. Received status code 401 from server: Unauthorized

Also, I had to reset my password for https://accounts.jenkins.io/ to be able to log in to https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/webapp/#/home. I use the Gradle JPI plugin and have my password configured in `~/.jenkins-ci.org`. I am also part of https://github.com/jenkins-infra/repository-permissions-updater/blob/master/permissions/plugin-mesos.yml.

Any ideas why I had to reset my password and why I cannot publish a release?

There should have been an email notification about the password reset.

But yes, the thread by Ulli is a root cause
