Is there an option to create new Remote access api in jenkins

Hi All,

We have an requirement where we have to upload or copy a file/content to jenkins server. For this, we are in need of creating a new remote access API(REST API).

Is there an option to create a custom REST API by extending jenkins.

Or could any one suggest me a solution for my requirement.
