Creating a plugin release returns 401 Unauthorized

I can't create a release for a plugin -- pushing it to the Jenkins infrastructure returns 401 Unauthorized: https://pastee.org/cmmfs

I know this is listed as a common issue here https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Hosting+Plugins#HostingPlugins-Releasingtojenkinsci.org

However I have verified that my password is correct, my creds are in ~/.m2/settings.xml and my pom looks good.

Here is the plugin I am trying to release: https://github.com/jenkinsci/drupal-developer-plugin/.

I was able to create a release for another plugin a few weeks ago.

Any idea what could be wrong ?

Probably it was a temporary issue with Jenkins INFRA. Added the infra team to Cc

Any news about this ? Not sure what could be wrong. Alternatively, maybe someone else can publish the release on my behalf ?

Have you tried the below section yet?

 

Make sure PW encryption is correct: Login https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/webapp/home.html?0 with jenkins-ci.org account Go to https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/webapp/profile.html Unlock "Current Password" Put "Encrypted Password" to your settings.xml

@Victor yes I have just tried this and still have "401, ReasonPhrase: Unauthorized."

Nevermind: turns out I was using Maven 2, and using Maven 3 fixed the problem.

I have updated the wiki page https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/pages/editpage.action?pageId=18612226 in case this can be useful for someone else.
