Plugins Problem after migrating from Hudson to Jenkins

I have a question regarding migrating from Hudson to Jenkins. 

I am not able to find some plugins on Jenkins, which I had installed on Hudson. 

The plugins that I am find on Jenkins are: 

Jenkins Promoted Build 

Release Promote 

Role-based Authorization Strategy 

Please let me know what I need to do in order to have these plugins on Jenkins so that I can go ahead with migrating to Jenkins.

Hi Sudeep,

Jenkins Promoted Build & Role-based Authorization Strategy are both available as native jenkins plugins[1][2], there is also a commercial plugin from cloudbees that provides role based authorization[3]

As for "Release Promote" I have never heard of this - nor could I find anything via google.  If you Hudson is old (ie a 1.x release) then the plugin should continue to work with Jenkins.  If not perhaps you could share some details of it and others on the list might now the plugin by a different name.

The info u provided was very important for me. 

As for the Release Promote plugin, the description is given as follows: 

This plugin is a Hudson plugin for both 1) creating a release (branch) and 2) Promoting a build to various environments.

Please advise if there is another plugin which does the job. 

Yes, I am using an old version of Hudson. It is 1.372

Hi,

As you are on such an old version of Hudson you should be able to still use exacly the same plugin in Jenkins as you are in Hudson.

Neither google nor I have come across that before so you may just need to copy the hpi (and any dependencies) for it from your Hudson plugins directory.
