Jenkins 2.479.3 Release Lead

Hi everyone,

I would like to volunteer to act as the release lead for Jenkins 2.479.3.

Planned dates are visible on the event caelndar: https://www.jenkins.io/events/#event-calendar 

• 11 December 2024 - Release candidate (two weeks from today)
• 8 January 2025 - Release (after Christmas and New Year)

The documentation is available in the release checklist template. Previous release checklists can be very helpful as well, since they tend to include comments and notes from the release lead.

Previous release leads will be available to answer questions and provide guidance.
