Pipeline multibranch plugin PRs

Hello,

 

I submitted PR44 [1] to workflow-multibranch-plugin in mid December last year which addresses JENKINS-34561 (Support for customising the name of the pipeline script). Catching up with where this has got to I noticed PR51 [2] which also adds new functionality (Sourcing the script from a different SCM).

 

In both cases Jesse has referred to pipeline-multibranch-defaults as a target. However this plugin does not look like a suitable target for the functionality we’ve proposed adding.

 

With the referrals to pipeline-defaults is the expectation that this get modified into a plugin which provides a set of extensions to the workflow-multibranch-plugin rather than merging these into workflow-multibranch?

I expect to spend some time looking at those and evaluating the
impact. So far I have not had time.
