Customize compatibility message

Hi want to upgrade my plugin and i was going through below document for displaying warnings.


it shows the standard error message on UI as shown below. I sthere any way that i could customize this message.

That's not possible. I suggest you add it to the plugin docs, so everyone who clicks through to the plugin site can read exactly why the message appears.

It is something we could add to the update center and to the plugin site in the future, but indeed now we rely on changelogs and READMEs

Needs a lot more than just a message though; plugins then will need to track a list of versions that introduced compatibility problems, rather than just the latest version.
