ec2 plugin maintenance

Hi,

I'd like to contribute to the EC2 plugin and I've been trying to get to the actual mainteners but it's been impossible... There are a couple of PRs pending and I don`t know if maybe I could give a hand on this? 

 

Also, I'm curious about Jenkins environment used for testing the PRs. Who is the maintener? Who defines the environment used? Can someone shed some light on that?

If there is no response from them within 2 weeks, we could transfer the ownership.

I don't consider myself as a current maintainer anymore, but from my perspective it'd be great to have you onboard Alicia.

Several years ago I handed off the torch to Francis. It sounds like he isn't getting cycles lately.

I'm still around, but I have not been able to spend much time on this. I have (finally) reacted to your PR, and I think I can spend at least a little time reviewing PRs. 

If you would like commit rights to the plugin though, I would not have any problem with that. More people helping is better.

I would appreciate that. I don't have time to test many things these days, so mainly I just look at the PRs to see if they make sense. If you can do some actual testing, then maybe we can accept more of them. If you would like to be a maintainer, I can put you on the list for that and you can have commit rights.

I'm happy to do a release soon if you can verify that things are working pretty well.

We would also need help in looking at the bug reports. I have not looked at them for quite a while, and I'm sure there are some important bugs that need to be addressed.
