Accessing implicit objects in email-ext plugin

Hello!  I am writing a plugin that is simply a few classes that I want to be able to access from the pre-send script of the email-ext plugin . . .  It's all working pretty well, except that I can't figure out how to access the build, logger, msg & cancel implicit vars from within my own objects . . .  Do I need to pass them in to the constructor?

Any thoughts would be appreciated?
