Unable to release P4 plugin

Hi Guys,

Not sure what has happened, but I am unable to release the P4 plugin?

For the last 10 or so releases I have been using the following commands:

   mvn org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-release-plugin:2.5:prepare

   mvn org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-release-plugin:2.5:perform 

But on the last command I get the error:

Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-deploy-plugin:2.6:deploy (default-deploy) on project p4: Failed to deploy artifacts: Could not transfer artifact org.jenkins-ci.plugins:p4:hpi:1.3.5 from/to maven.jenkins-ci.org (http://maven.jenkins-ci.org/content/repositories/releases/): Failed to transfer file: http://maven.jenkins-ci.org/content/repositories/releases/org/jenkins-ci/plugins/p4/1.3.5/p4-1.3.5.hpi. Return code is: 401, ReasonPhrase: Unauthorized. -> [Help 1]

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

401-authorized message means some issues with your credentials

Hi Victor,

No my password is unchanged (been using the same password for may years). However I am unable to login to:

https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/webapp/#/login

I tried the 'Forgot Password' link, but get no email? My user name is 'p4paul' are you able to verify my account exists?

Hi Guys,

I tried logging into the wiki and have the same issue.

Then I tried a password reset from the wiki and broke the page!

Stack trace attached:

Dead INFRA again, wait for CB business hours as all infra members are in it.

There are non CB people on the infra list - and to be fair the CB people that are on it are all in various time zones (Europe, America)

BTW, for those wondering it's been fixed some minutes after James' email.

So releasing should be possible now.
