We normally do this process over on the dev mailing list.

Can you create a new PR that updates https://github.com/jenkins-infra/repository-permissions-updater/blob/master/permissions/plugin-lucene-search.yml (details are on the main README) and ping Tobias on that PR to approve everything. Once approved we can move forward with the transfer.

As you've probably seen there has been no development in the last 5 years, and I checked with Marcus and we're both happy if you want to take over the repository and plugin. 

Unfortunately I have no idea on what the process for transferring ownership of the plugin is, but feel free to start it and we will ok it.

 

I want to stress that we would really appreciate it if someone could take over the plugin and manage it better.

 

We will not merge any PR's because we've both moved on to other things and don't have the time required to review and test PRs.
