Hi,
I've just proposed a new field for JIRA issues, because I find it difficult to know quickly how it has been solved (if status is resolved):

Last comment is not always the solution (the thread continues and continues... ;)).

A related topic would be adding an optional "Released As" field, because sometimes it is also complicated to understand which components need to be updated in order to get the fix applied
