Request to adopt plugin "bitbucket-branch-source-plugin"

Hi all,

I would love to adopt the Jenkins plugin "bitbucket-branch-source-plugin" as a maintainer.

I have been using the plugin for many years work-related but also privately, on my private Bitbucket server, since a couple. I am relatively aware of branch-source-type of plugins, and have been using them on GitHub as well.

As a maintainer, my huge strengths are not necessarily the development side of things, but someone that has a good overview on what the plugin should do. Additionally I would like to act as a facilitator. The plugin being flagged as "up for adoption" unfortunately also gives negative vibe for those who are thinking of using it.

I am working with Mark Waites and a couple of others on various initiatives to improve the contributors and maintainers experience (especially newcomers).

It is in that context that I believe that it would be great if we could we discuss your experience by mail of even is a short call (if time zones are favorable). I'd like to know things, among others, like:

• was the adoption successful?
• what were the friction points? 
• Did you get (or needed) help? In what form? 
• what were your motives for adoption?
• what is your previous experience as Jenkins/OSS contributor and in java dev?
• ....
